- (1.) THE petition has been filed by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) seeking approval of the transmission charges for Asset I: LILO of 400 kV D/C Kahalgaon -Biharshariff T/L (2nd Line) and associated bays at Banka Sub -station; Asset II: 400/132 kV, 200 MVA ICT -I along with associated bays at Banka Substation; Asset III: 400/132 kV, 200 MVA ICT -II along with associated bays at Banka Sub -station; Asset IV: 400 kV, 80 MVAR, Bus Reactor with associated bays at Banka Sub -station associated with Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme -III (hereinafter referred to as "transmission assets") in Eastern Region from anticipated date of commercial operation to 31.3.2014 based on the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as "2009 Tariff Regulations"). The investment approval for the scheme was accorded by the Board of Directors of the petitioner, vide Memorandum Ref. No. C/CP/ERSS -III dated 7.7.2010 for Rs. 127280 lakh, including Interest During Construction (IDC) of Rs. 8152 lakh based on 1st Quarter, 2010 price level.
