JUDGEMENT

- (1.) The petitioner, by means of present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks to issue writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing FIR No. 682 of 2013, under Sections 147, 323, 504, 506, 427, 332 and 353 of IPC, Police Station Kunda, District Udham Singh Nagar.
(2.) An FIR was lodged by Ajay Bharadwaj against Bhagwan Singh s/o Balwant Singh, on 01.09.2013, in Police Station Kunda, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 323, 504, 506, 427, 332 and 353 IPC. The matter is under investigation.
(3.) Informant/Affected person Ajay Bharadwaj, duly identified by his counsel Mr. Amrish Agrawal, is present in the Court. He said that he is no more interested in prosecution of the accused and, therefore, he has filed an application for permitting him to compound the offences complained of against the accused/applicant. Compounding application no. 1369 of 2013 is filed by the parties jointly. Accused-petitioner is also present in the Court, duly identified by his counsel Mr. P.C.Petshali, Advocate.;
