JUDGEMENT

- (1.) The petitioner, by means of present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks to issue writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the FIR No. 145 of 2013, under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC, Police Station Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar.
(2.) An FIR was lodged by Swarn Singh against Gurvinder Singh s/o Ranjeet Singh, on 09.05.2013, in Police Station Kichha, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC. The matter is under investigation.
(3.) Informant Swarn Singh, duly identified by his counsel Mr. Pramod Belwal, is present in the Court. He 2 said that he is no more interested in prosecution of the accused and, therefore, he has filed an application for permitting him to compound the offences/complained of against the accused/applicant. Compounding application no. 6787 of 2013 is filed by the parties jointly. Accused applicant is also present in the Court, duly identified by his counsel Mr. S.K. Mandal, learned counsel for the petitioner.;
