(1.) By means of present writ petition, the petitioner seeks to issue a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR of Case No. 163 of 2013, PS Kotwali Doiwala, District Dehradun, under Sections 493, 498-A, 120-B and 376 of IPC.
(2.) A first information report was lodged by the complainant (resonant no. 3 herein) against four named accused persons on 30.11.2013 at PS Doiwala, under Sections 376, 493, 498-A and 120-B of IPC. Learned counsel for the State stated that the matter is currently under investigation.
(3.) At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he is not keen to pursue the Criminal Writ Petition. Criminal Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed as 'not pressed'.;
