JUDGEMENT

- (1.) Heard.
(2.) By means of this petition moved under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner has sought quashing of the proceedings of Criminal Case No. 100 of 2009, State vs. Mohd. Akbar and others, relating to offences punishable under section 420, 471 and 120B of I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Almora, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Almora.
(3.) Brief facts of the case are that Rs. 10,000/- sanctioned from the Chief Minister Relief Fund meant for one Pushpa Rawat said to have been misappropriated. Complainant who has lodged the First Information Report is Sub Divisional Magistrate. The trial is pending since 2007.;
