By means of this writ petition, moved under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought quashing of the First Information Report, registered as Crime No. 2 of 2012, relating to offences punishable under Section 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B read with Section 34 of I. P. C. Patwari Circle Bhatgaon, Tehsil Ghansali, District Tehri Garhwal.
(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is simply brother-in-law of the village Pradhan, Sarojini Devi. It is further contended that neither any money was entrusted to the petitioner, nor any amount has been spent by him.;
