- (1.) Delay condoned.
(2.) Notice was issued in these proceedings on 18 March, 2016 in the following terms: "Heard Mr. Jayant Bhushan, learned senior counsel for the petitioner. In our considered opinion, the only thing that requires to be adverted to is whether the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission should have awarded interest to the respondent when a finding had been returned that the appellant shall hand over a flat to the respondent at the original price. Issue notice returnable within 12 weeks."
(3.) Having heard learned counsel for the contesting parties, we are of the view that the direction for payment of interest is justified. Possession of the flat(s) has not been handed over even as of date as stated by learned counsel for the respondents.;
