KURIAN,J. -
(1.) The appellant/Deep Mala is before this Court against the concurrent findings on divorce.
(2.) After having heard learned counsel for the parties and after having heard Mr. A.K. Panda, learned senior counsel, who was requested by this Court to mediate in the matter, we are of the view that the interest of justice would be met, in case the respondent pays to the appellant a further sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs) as a one-time payment.
(3.) The appeal is hence disposed of as follows:
The respondent shall pay a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs) to the appellant within a period of three months from today. Till the amount is paid the respondent will continue to pay the interim maintenance of Rs. 7,000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand) per month. After the payment, as above, is made there shall be no further liability on the part of the respondent to pay the interim maintenance and there shall be no other claim on the part of the appellant in future. We make it clear that there shall be no litigation between the parties on account of this matrimonial issue and if any proceeding is pending before any Forum, the respective parties will withdraw the same.;
