This appeal is filed seeking enhancement of compensation in respect of the land acquired vide Notification dated 27.01.2003 issued under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act ('the Act') followed by declaration dated 23.01.2004 under Section 6 of the Act. On reference, the learned District Judge assessed the market value of the acquired land at Rs.20,00,000/- per acre, which is maintained by the High Court while refusing to give any further enhancement. The other batch of appeals, with main case being Civil Appeal No. 4555 of 2011, arising out of the same Notification, had come before this Court, and were decided vide judgment dated 11.12.2014 whereby the compensation was enhanced by Rs. 1,00,000/- per acre, inclusive of all statutory benefits.;
