JUDGEMENT

(1.) WE have heard Learned Counsel for the parties and perused the letter dated 26th September, 2013 of the Technical Director, National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Bhopal. The said letter is taken on record and the National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. Bhopal is impleaded as a Respondent in these interlocutory applications. Learned Counsel for the State of Madhya Pradesh will furnish the details of the newly added Respondent including address. Though a prayer has been made in I.A. No. 18 for extension of time for computerization of gas relief hospitals by nine months, we are not inclined to grant the entire period of nine months for compliance. Instead, we extend the time upto 31st December, 2013 by which time the computerization of the gas relief hospitals will be completed by the applicant (State) as well as the National Informatics Centre, Bhopal.
(2.) I .A. Nos. 18 and 19 stand disposed of. I.A. Nos. 20 -24 By order dated 9th August, 2012 passed in Writ Petition (C) No. 50 of 1998 titled Bhopal Gas Peedith Mahila Udyog Sangathan and Ors. v. Union of India and Ors., this Court had directed that the aforesaid writ petition is transferred to the High Court of Madhya Pradesh and the High Court of Madhya Pradesh will ensure proper functioning of various Committees, proper running of the hospitals established by the Government and health care facilities available to the Bhopal gas victims and exercise supervisory jurisdiction accordingly to serve the ends of justice.
(3.) WE are told that the Madhya Pradesh High Court has not taken up this matter or any interlocutory application filed therein as yet. We, therefore, call for a report from the Registrar General of the Madhya Pradesh High Court so as to reach this Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order from the Registry of this Court indicating therein as to whether the writ petition was taken up by any Bench of the High Court and if so, any order has been passed therein. The Registrar General of the Madhya Pradesh High Court will also furnish a copy of all the orders of the High Court passed in the matter after the case was transferred to the High Court. The Registrar General of the High Court will also furnish the details of disposal of I. As and prayers made therein after the case was transferred to the High Court.;
