JUDGEMENT

- (1.) In the affidavit dated 27-11-2002 filed by the Additional Director, Central Pollution Control Board in paragraph 9 it has been stated as under: "That the calibration facility of the monitoring equipment for installation at Central Laboratory and meteorological system for installation at Taj Mahal and Itmad-ud-daula has been finalized and will be completed shortly. The study on RSPM characterisation is in progress as desired by the Hon ble Court."
(2.) The Central Pollution Control Board is directed to submit the study of RSPM characterisation within four weeks from today.
(3.) Further, in paragraph 11 of the said affidavit it has been stated as under: "That in compliance with the Hon ble Court's order dated 16-9- 2002, the estimated budget for O&M (at a cost of Rs 55.2 lakhs as presented at Annexure V as per the staff pattern to be borne by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India) of four monitoring stations and a Central Laboratory is submitted for kind information of this Hon ble Court. It is also submitted that the permission may also be given to carry forward the unutilised fund of the Mission Management Board (earlier sanctioned towards the cost of hardware components) towards upgradation of the monitoring system including data display.";
