(1.)We have heard Mr. Atul Babasaheb Dakh, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr. Rahul Chitnis, learned counsel appearing for the respondent State of Maharashtra.
(2.)The appellant who is an accused in Regular Criminal Case No.653 of 2015 registered on the basis of FIR No.26 of 2015 for offences punishable under sections 498A, 506, 323, and 406 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (for short, the IPC ), has filed the present appeal by special leave.
(3.)Mr. Dakh, learned counsel appearing for the appellant, has submitted that the complainant wife - Shilpa and the husband - Ganesh Birajdar have already compromised the matter.
