(1.) THE appellant is the complainant in CC.66/08 in the file of CDRF, Kasaragod.
(2.) THE complaint filed by the complainant seeking compensation for refusal to grant him the entire amount of loan applied for i.e. Rs. 30,000 and also for not issuing the cheque book on behalf of his wife Leela stands dismissed. Although, he applied for a loan of Rs. 30,000, the opposite parties/Farmers Co -operative Bank granted only a sum of Rs. 5,000.
(3.) IT is the case of the opposite parties that he availed a loan of Rs. 3,600 for digging a well and Rs. 5,956.70 for purchasing pumpset in the year 1993. He repaid only Rs. 240 and Rs. 376.70 respectively towards the above loans. After the arbitration proceedings, the decree was executed by the Sale Officer with police escort.
The evidence adduced consisted of the testimony of PW1, Exts. A1 to A3 and B1 to B8.;
