JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Mr. Vikramjit Banerjee, learned counsel for the petitioner. For the order proposed to be passed, it is not felt necessary to issue formal notice to the respondents.

(2.) THE petitioner has introduced himself to be a citizen of the country devoted to the field of education for over two decades and also the President, Managing Committee of the Madarsa Faqruddin Ali Ahmed, Zone -35, Pratap Nagar. The instant petition has been filed by him to initiate a public interest litigation for providing laptops to students who are studying in Madarsas recognized by the Madarsa Board at Upper Primary School Level. It has been prayed as well that the benefit of the notification under challenge be accorded to the students of the minority community studying in the recognized Madarsas of the State.
