JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed by petitioners seeking reliefs as indicated in the writ petition.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioners prayed that their representation may be considered by the respondents in light of the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of State of Punjab and Ors. v. Jagjit Singh and Ors. reported in (2017) 1 Supreme Court Cases 148. The relevant portion of the judgment reads as under:

(3.) Consequently, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners in terms of aforesaid judgment. The needful be done within a period of 60 days from today.
