JUDGEMENT

GUPTA, J. - (1.)In this application, the appellant-State of J. and K. seeks to have the time extended by 24 days for filing appeal under Section 52-G of the Jammu and Kashmir Forest Act against the order dated 28-12-1989 passed by the one Man Forest Authority, J. and K., Srinagar.
(2.)An application u/Sec. 52-B of the Jammu and Kashmir Forest Act Smvt. 1987 was filed by the State of J. and K., before the one Man Forest Authority constituted under S. 52-C of the Act. By the impugned order passed on 28th Dec., 1989, the Authority dismissed the claims of the State of J. K. Aggrieved of the dismissal of its claims vide aforesaid order dated 28-12-1989, the State of J. and K. filed appeal in this Court u/S. 52-G of the Act. The appeal was filed on 21st Feb., 1991. Along with the appeal present application was filed, whereby the time for filing the appeal was sought to be extended by 24 days keeping in view the fact that u/S. 52-G, the period of limitation was 30 days from the date of the order of the Authority.
