(1.) Heard Mr. Indradeo Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Prabhu Narayan Sharma, learned counsel for the State.
(2.) The instant application preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed in Hindi by the petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus.
(3.) In Krishna Yadav vs. State of Bihar and Ors. since reported in 2019(2) PLJR 809 a Full Bench of this Court has held that a petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India or a tax reference can be filed in Hindi but it will have to be accompanied by an English version as well which shall be the authentic version of the petition for all legal purposes so long as the Notification dtd. 9/5/1972 issued by the Governor of the State under Clause (2) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India and Sec. 7 of the Official Language Act, 1963 stands.;
