Tarlok Singh Chauhan, J. - (1.) Issue notice. Mr. Vir Bahadur Verma, learned Central Government Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent.
(2.) The petition has been filed seeking therein the following reliefs:- (I) That the respondent may be directed to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in the passport as 13.3.1992 instead of 13.6.1992. (II) That the respondent may be directed to re-issue the passport to the petitioner, reflecting corrected date of birth of the petitioner i.e. 13.3.1992, as per the certificates issued by statutory authorities. (III) That the respondent may be directed to decide the representation (Annexure P-9) of the petitioner in a time bound manner."
(3.) The question raised in the instant petition relates to the correction of date of birth of the petitioner in the passport issued to her by the respondent.;
