JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the award dated 20.07.2009.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the address of the petitioner before respondent No.1 was mentioned as 42 Kilometre, National Highway No.8, village Kherkidaula, Gurgaon, whereas the correct address of the petitioner was 40 Milestone, National Highway No.8, Village Kherki Daula, Gurgaon. Petitioner had not received any notice, of the proceedings, issued by the Labour Court and as a result of this ex parte award was passed against the petitioner.

(3.) Learned counsel for respondent No.2, on the other hand, has opposed the petition.
