JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 52 dated 23.05.2009 registered against the petitioner under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B IPC at police station Bhadson, District Patiala on the basis of compromise along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

(2.) Learned State counsel today submits that charges have been framed in the case and out of total 16 prosecution witnesses cited by the prosecution, 04 have already been examined.

(3.) This petition was entertained primarily on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-4) which was stated to be arrived at between the petitioner and respondent No. 2. While issuing notice of motion, this court had taken note of the compromise and amicable settlement between the parties. However, the investigating agency as well as complainant, have denied the averment made in the petition as regards compromise.
