RICHHPAL SINGH AND OTHERS Vs. STATE OF HARYANA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioner No. 3 in the present case is Panch of the village, who belongs to an opposition group. He had contested election against the present Sarpanch. Having that grudge, they have been implicated in this false case. Though in the FIR, the allegation is that the petitioners tried to strangulate the Gram Sachiv, however, there is no medico -legal report for any assault.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the State submitted that the petitioners had tried to disrupt the proceedings for auction of trees standing on the land of the Gram Panchayat. However, he submitted that there is no medico -legal report of the Gram Sachiv showing that there was an attempt to strangulate him.

(3.) THE petition stands disposed of.
