JUDGEMENT

Hitesh Kumar Sarma, J. - (1.) This is an appeal, challenging the judgment and order, dated 15.11.2014, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jorhat, in Sessions Case No. 105(JJ)/2013, convicting the accused-appellant and sentencing him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 6 months and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/- with a default clause for offence under Section 417 IPC.
(2.) Heard Mr. J. Roy, learned counsel for the accused-appellant, assisted by learned counsel, Mr. R. Hazarika. Also heard Mr. R.J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the state respondent.
(3.) I have also perused the records of the learned trial court including the impugned judgment and the evidence of the prosecution witnesses.;
