Ujjal Bhuyan, J. - (1.) This is an application under article 226 of the Constitution of India. Matter relates to selection to the post of Stenographer Grade-II in the Assam Secretariat, both in English and in Assamese.
(2.) Because of filing of several applications, affidavits and objections, the brief has become somewhat unwieldy. However, attempt would be made to restrict narration of facts to the bare essentials for adjudication of the lis.
