JUDGEMENT

Lanusungkum Jamir, J. - (1.) Heard Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. Sundari, learned G.A. appearing for respondent Nos. 1 and 2.
(2.) While the petitioner was serving as Laboratory Attendant/ Grade-VI at Chaoyaima Hr. Sec. School, Thoubal, the respondent No. 2/ Director of Education (S) issued an Order dated 08.03.2019 promoting 80 (Eighty) Grade-VI employees to the posts of Office Assistant wherein in the annexure appended to the order, the name of the petitioner appears at serial No. 16. Thereafter, the respondent No. 2 issued an Order dated 20.07.2019 posting the 80 (Eighty) Office Assistants to the offices/schools mentioned against their respective names. The name of the petitioner again appeared at serial No. 69 and is shown posted to Chaoyaima Hr. Sec. School, Thoubal. In terms of the Order dated 20.07.2019, the petitioner gave his joining report to the Principal, Chaoyaima Hr. Sec. School, Thoubal on 29.07.2019. Within a few days after giving his joining report, the respondent No. 2 issued an Order dated 03.08.2019 transferring and posting the petitioner from Chaoyaima Hr. Sec. School to Khangabok Hr. Sec. School.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the Order dated 03.08.2019 alleging that there has been violation of the Transfer and Posting policy guidelines for teachers and Heads of the Institutions under the Department of Education-S, Manipur as provided in the Order dated 16.02.2019 issued by the Education(S) Department. The petitioner also made a Representation dated 17.08.2019 before the respondent No. 2 requesting for review/ modification of the transfer Order dated 03.08.2019 in view of the Order dated 16.02.2019 and also on health grounds. The representation dated 17.08.2019 is yet to be disposed of by the respondent No. 2. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the Representation dated 17.08.2019 made by the petitioner within a period of 1 (one) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order of this Court. ;
