JUDGEMENT

- (1.)Heard learned counsel for the parties.
(2.)On 10th August, 2018, Police Officer, David Darlong, PSI of Sonamura Police Station received a secret information that two persons namely, Sri Ratan Das, S/o. Late Banamali Das and Sri Ratan Shil, S/o- Late Ramesh Shil of Kamalnagar had concealed ganja in their house as also their rubber plantations. Also two other persons namely, Tinku Kumar Dey (present bail applicant) and Chan Miah (already on bail), in terms of order dated 15.11.2018 passed in AB No.121/2018, titled as Chan Miah Vrs. The State of Tripura), in a clandestine manner had concealed huge quantity of ganja in their rubber plantation.
(3.)After formatting a raiding party, house of Ratan Das was searched from where 247 kilograms of dried ganja was recovered. From the house of Ratan Shil 4(four) blue coloured plastic drums containing 186 kilograms of ganja were recovered and from the rubber plantation ( not that of the present bail applicant) 25(twenty five) blue coloured plastic drums containing 1008 kilograms of dried Ganja were recovered.
