JUDGEMENT
Arindam Lodh, J. -
(1.)Heard Mr. D.K. Biswas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. D. Sharma, learned Addl. G.A., appearing for the State-respondents.
(2.)The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed for the following reliefs:-
1) Issue a writ mandating/Passing appropriate orders granting the same relief to the petitioner as made in WP(C) 245 of 2007 (Annexure-2) and common judgment in WP(C) 371 of 2016 (Annex-3) under the constitutional principle of equality;
2) Issue appropriate writ declaring the Memo of the Respondents issued on 16-1-2018 and the memo Dated 20-04-2018 (Annexures 4 and 5) perverse, and accordingly non-est in the eye of law,
3) Issue appropriate orders directing the State respondents to implement the direction within time frame; and
4) Pass any other order/orders as may be deemed fit and proper for ends of justice."
(3.)After the matter was heard for sometimes, learned counsel for the petitioner under instruction agreed to the proposal of this Court that the petitioner should file representation to the competent authorities i.e., the respondents herein. As such, the petitioner is directed to submit representation within a period of three weeks from today.
