S.G.CHATTOPADHYAY,J. - (1.)This is an application under Sec. 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for granting pre-arrest bail to the applicant in the event of his arrest in Sonamura P.S. Case No. 2022 SNM 023 registered under Ss. 420, 468, 469, 471 read with Sec. 34 IPC.
(2.)The case has been registered against the accused applicant and 2 other accused on the basis of the written FIR lodged by Sri Rajat Ray, an advocate and Notary Public. The informant lodged the said FIR with the Officer in charge of West Agartala P.S. on 6/3/2022 alleging, inter alia, that the accused applicant in connivance with the other two accused forged his signature on a lease agreement and he also used a fake seal in his name on the said document.
(3.)Based on his FIR, Sonamura P.S. case no. 2022 SNM 023 under Ss. 420, 468, 469, 471 read with Sec. 34 IPC was registered and the case was taken up for investigation.
