(1.) This is first application filed under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for grant of bail.
(2.) The applicant has been arrested on 1.12.2020 in connection with Crime No.418/2020 registered by Police Station Raghogarh, District Guna for offence punishable under Sections 365, 364, 364(Ka), 323, 506 of IPC.
(3.) It is submitted by Shri Bansal that the daughter of the complainant Ram Singh was married to the son of the applicant namely Jitendra. Thereafter, the wife of the co-accused Jitendra left him and started residing with one Hari Singh. A decision was taken in the Panchayat that the complainant would pay Rs.3,30,000/- to the son of the applicant by way of compensation. However, the said amount was not paid and, accordingly, in order to get over the decision of the Panchayat, the false report has been lodged. The trial is likely to take sufficiently long time and there is no possibility of his absconding or tampering with the prosecution case.;
