(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel and perused the records.
(2.) Since only a legal question is involved in this writ petition, as such with the consent of parties' counsel, it is being heard finally and is decided without calling for the counter affidavit.
(3.) The short question involved in the writ petition is whether the District Panchayat Raj Officer is empowered to exercise powers under Section 95(1)(g) of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act,1947 to pass an order ceasing the financial and administrative powers of an elected Pradhan.
