JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Dr. Abida Syed, learned Amicus Curiae for the appellant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

(2.) The instant jail appeal has been filed against the judgment & order dated 103.2008 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, court no.8, Bareilly by which the appellant was convicted under Section 8/19 N.D.P.S. Act and sentenced for imprisonment of ten years R.I. and fine of Rs.1 lac and in default of payment of fine he shall undergo further two years simple imprisonment.
