JUDGEMENT
S.M.Subramaniam, J. -
(1.) The order issued by the 1st respondent in proceedings dated 03.01.2013, rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner, for regularisation and permanent absorption in a sanctioned post is under challenge in this writ petition.
(2.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made submissions that the writ petitioner was appointed as a daily wage employee, NMR-Non Muster Rolls maintained by the respondents. The petitioner states that he has completed more than 10 years of service, as a daily wage employee and therefore, he is entitled for regularisation, as per the orders of the Government. The respondents have regularised the services of the similarly placed persons and to that effect, orders were passed. The petitioner is also entitled for the same benefits on par with the other similarly placed persons.
(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner has completed 10 years of service and it is the policy of the Government that the daily wage employees, who have completed 10 years of service are eligible to be regularised in the regular sanctioned post and therefore, the case of the petitioner is also to be considered on par with the other similarly placed persons as per the Government orders in force.;
