JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner challenges the election to the Academic Council of Thiruvalluvar University for the year 2017 and the proceedings of the Returning Officer dated 18.09.2017 rejecting the nomination of the petitioner. Consequently, the petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to include his name in the list of valid candidates for the above said election which was scheduled to be held on 28.10.2017.
