JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited, Karaikudi, is on appeal, challenging the award, dated 12.10.2006, passed in M.C.O.P.No.8 of 2003, on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal ((Sub-Court), Pudukkottai.

(2.) The only contention raised by the learned counsel for the appellant is on the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal.

(3.) It is a case of injury. The brief facts of the case are as follows:-
