JUDGEMENT

(1.) Application for anticipatory bail.

(2.) Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No.703 of 2022 of Melukavu Police Station, Kottayam registered alleging commission of offence punishable under Sec. 420 of IPC.

(3.) The prosecution allegation is that on 14/7/2022 and 16/7/2022, the 1st accused with the intention to cheat the defacto complainant had pledged fake gold ornaments with the Meenachil East Co-operative Bank in which the defacto complainant is working as the Branch manager and had availed an amount of Rs.1,27,000.00 and tried to cheat the bank again by pledging another fake gold ornament on 25/7/2022, and thereby committed the alleged offence.
