JUDGEMENT

MUKUL MUDGAL, J. - (1.) Rule DB.
(2.) With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.
(3.) This Writ Petition challenges the order dated 5th February, 2007 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi in MA No.2199/2006 and OA No.2849/2005 filed by the Petitioner. The counsel for the Petitioner has contended that the order dated 19th July, 2006 passed by the CAT in OA No.2849/2005, directed Appellant/Disciplinary Authority to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the Petitioner as early as possible but not later than four months from the date of submission of the reply filed on 31.07.2006 and the period has now by the impugned order is being extended upto 31st March, 2007. Today we are already on 16th March, 2007. The period is expiring on 31st March, 2007. In this view of the matter mere extension of time upto 31st March, 2007 can not entitle the Petitioner to seek intervention at this stage. Accordingly, the Writ Petition and the CM are dismissed and stands disposed of.;
