JUDGEMENT

- (1.) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing charge sheet dated 12.05.1998 and the consequent departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner by the respondent and to pass such order as this Court may deem fit.
(2.) Rule was issued in this petition on 05.05.2000.
(3.) The necessary facts are that the petitioner was posted as a Patwari in the year 1985 in Village Gokulpuri, Shahdara, East Zone. During his tenure of posting, a land bearing Khasra no.585 was acquired by DDA (respondent herein) vide award no.14/72-73 and possession of the said land was taken over by Land and Acquisition Department on 15.06.1972 and it was placed at the disposal of the DDA/respondent by a notification no.291/1993 under Section 22(i) of the Land and Acquisition Act.;
