JUDGEMENT

L.C. Bhadoo, J. - (1.)HEARD on the question of admission. The revision is admitted for hearing. Issue notice to the respondent. Also heard on M.Cr. P. No. 307/2003 for suspension of sentence and grant of bail.
(2.)THE learned counsel for the petitioner argued that the appeal was dismissed in default. The matter relates to violation of section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. He further submitted that the matter has been compromised.
(3.)HAVING regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the opinion that it is a fit case to suspend the sentence and fine amount imposed on the petitioner and enlarge him on bail. Accordingly, the application M. Cr. P.No. 307/2003 is allowed. Execution of the sentence imposed on the petitioner shall remain suspended and he is directed to be released on bail on his executing a bond in sum of Rs. 5,000/ - with two sureties in the likewise amount to the satisfaction of the trial court for his appearance before the Registry of this Court on 1.4.2003. He shall thereafter appear before the trial Court on a date to be given to him in this behalf by the Registry and shall thereafter continue to appear before the trial court on all such other subsequent dates as are given to him by the Said court till the disposal of this revision. Parties are entitled for certified copy of this order.
